A tātou hāpori
Community
Club Kahukura
Club Kahukura is a seven week course for adults who are newly questioning their gender or sexuality, or new to Rainbow community – a chance to explore identity from the ground up, with others on a similar journey, trying to figure out their own path. And it’s free!
Rainbow Wellbeing Network
The Rainbow Wellbeing Network brings together kaimahi, volunteers and researchers with an interest in the Takatāpui and Rainbow wellbeing for peer support. Allies are welcome. We increase knowledge of services and gaps and grow shared understandings of violence towards Takatāpui and Rainbow communities.
Kōrero Mai | Talk to me
Kōrero Mai | Talk to Me is an interactive online portal to help parents and caregivers talk to their kids about sexuality, gender and safety. With videos from other parents and caregivers working this stuff out too, tip-sheets and even a board game!
Waiata Fridays
For all Takatāpui and Rainbow peeps, our whānau, allies and friends. Learn and share waiata. If you are able, feel free to bring a plate for shared kai, or just hang out and enjoy the vibe.
Last Friday monthly, 5.30pm, 27 Beatty St, Kirikiriroa.
Kids and Gender Toolbox
What does it mean if your son loves wearing a pink tutu? What if your daughter only wants to play with trucks? And what about if your child is sure the doctor got their gender wrong when they were born? The Kids and Gender Toolbox helps parents understand what is happening better. You can make all the difference for your child by being there for them.
